February: Heart Series for Health PT. 2
Last week I touched on the Heart Chakra and its relationship to immune health. For our physical health to be good, our energy body needs to be drawing in a sufficient amount of life force from our environment all day - every day.
There are many reasons why our immune system can take a hit. I’m writing this series of articles specifically for those of you who have recurring viruses, colds, etc. and have been dealing with ongoing stress, anxiety, fear, or other emotions for some time. This also includes those of you who have been doing a lot, running yourselves too thin and haven’t had enough time for self-care.
Our first step in opening the Heart Chakra and boosting the immune system is cleansing. We need to purify or cleanse the energy body to increase the flow of life force through the body. I know this may sound counterintuitive when you’re low on energy or sick because the word cleansing implies taking something out, but in this case what we’ll be removing is stuck emotional energy, whether that’s stuck stress, anxiety, worry, anger, etc.
Emotions themselves are not really the problem. I believe our emotions are powerful teachers in our lives and can be a guiding light in helping us navigate issues we face. However, negative emotions can become a problem for our health when we’re unable to process them properly, or when things are overwhelming. In these cases, the emotional energy starts to get stuck in the chakras. It then clogs up the meridians (through which life force flows) and our mental and physical health takes a hit.
By incorporating more purification or cleansing rituals into your day-to-day you’ll help your energy body release this stuck energy thereby increasing the flow of life force through the entire body. When this happens, the cells of your body will receive the very energy they need to heal and function at their best. Doing these techniques once will be helpful, but they should be done regularly not only to help you heal but also to help you maintain good health once restored.
The absolute easiest way to energetically cleanse yourself is to have a salt bath. If you don’t have a bathtub, then a salt scrub in the shower will suffice. Please read through this PDF and choose the right salt bath for you based on your needs. Read the directions carefully and make sure you do not use Epsom salts for this purpose. While Epsom salts are great, they’re useless for our purpose here.
Cleansing techniques
Salt Bath
If you’re not a bath person or don’t have a bath, you can use a salt scrub in the shower. These salt baths can be done several times a week. There are a lot of benefits to these baths, more than what I’m sharing in this article. Within this PDF you will find several variations, please choose the variation that makes the most sense for your needs. If you're using a salt scrub in the shower make sure to let the salt sit all over your body, especially in the diaphragm area for several minutes before washing it off.
Salt Bowl under the Bed
This can be done in addition to the salt baths, or on its own. This technique is a powerful way to decongest the energy body of stuck energy causing physical/psychological suffering. This technique is useful if you’ve been going through a difficult time and need extra support. A few things to note, please change the water every 24 hours (max), these salt bowls get full energetically (and honestly disgusting) so don’t let them go past 24 hours. Also please make sure your pets and children do not get into the bowls. To the naked eye, you won’t see it, but these bowls vacuum up a lot of negative energy and get very gross. They could make your pets sick if they drink from them.
Please feel free to share these PDFs with your family and friends. These techniques are simple - but powerful.
Next week I’ll be sharing more tips on how to bring in energy to the Heart Chakra and boost immune health (not to mention supporting more inner peace and happiness).
If you need healing support, you can book a session here.
